As I am sure you have guessed from the goat pictures on the site. The main thing to sell is raw goat's milk. We are taking new customers as of now. We supply milk all winter which is a rarity. If you become a regular now you will get service year round. In the fall we move to steady customers only until the following March. If you would like to become a steady please do so by joining up in the summer so I know how many does to have in milk in the fall when it's tougher to come by. I do all the chilling ( we chill in under 30 minutes to  36 degrees for prolonged freshness) and straining and my three eldest children do all the milking by hand. Being a milk customer means you support the kids goat habit and their show careers as 4-Hers and we appreciate your buisness.
As kids come up for sale we will post them on this page along with a picture of the dam's udder. We are not taking deposits at this time, but if you would like to be on the list of people to call before we list them on the site, please let us know.  So far all of our kids have been hand raised. We may switch to a bucket feeder when we get a few more goats but to date every baby has had a child feed it from birth and in most cases, a child caught the kid while being delivered in most cases. We will continue to do it that was until we physically can't. We dam raise some of what we keep, but only if the dam has had a CAE and CL test within 2 weeks of kidding, along with whichever goat is in the pen with her. We would like to have a closed herd, but we don't have enough goats yet, so until then we will continually test and isolate new animals. So far, keeping everyone clean is going well. Please contact us if you need anymore info on kids. As for our dams, all have been vaccinated with CDT and Lysigin, and Pasturella.  We try to use holistic methods first, such as herbal salves, or probiotics, before we resort to conventional medicines. Our priority is the animal's health though so we do what we can to make sure they stay healthy and sometimes that calls for an antibiotic. We do discard any milk that has withdrawal times from the medication for humans or goats. Our long term goal here is to get 6 does with an linear appraisal of 90 or above that milk well. This is no small feat for anyone much less a 4-Her, but that is what the children have decided. That means we will be selling some of our does at some point. We are trying to continually breed to better bucks to make this happen, but sometimes you have to try a new line. If you see a doe on our site you like and you are a good home( a must for my little sellers) please let us know. My children can be persuaded if they know that good things are in store for their beloved friends. So far we have had great buyers and the children feel good about the homes their animals have been welcomed in to. I pray that it will stay that way.
This is Annessa welcoming Midsummer Nights Renee into ths world. She was the first kid to bear our farm name. She went to a great young man also the eldest of 7. Annessa was thrilled, as was I. We hope she brings as much joy to her new family as her dam Ruth brought us.

Leilani kidded, one buckling available. See his sister on the Junior doe page.

Well here she is before delivering. the other side was actually bigger than this one, but, I didn't get a good shot of both. She was huge, everyone expected triplets again, we were much dismayed to find twin giant bucklings but then that isn't her fault.

Here is the firstborn, a brown buckling, poor guy, he doesn't know we don't like brown. He is extremely level though and has awesome ears and rump.
Here is number 2. I think he will be red. He is still standing on his toes. he is the bigger of the two. Not by much, though, plus these are 10 lb babies, so it isn't like they are little. They are both very tall and long.
I took down the other kids that we have sold the dams on to save web space. If you need a photo of past kids or their dams just let me know. I have them saved to my PC.
Both bucklings are sold to great family, thanks so much, we enjoyed our afternoon with you.
For others who are looking, keep in mind all our does will have a wet buckling price for the first week, so if you see another you like give us a call.
Amara also kidded a buck and a doe. Amara gave a quart and a half her first milking so her production is looking as promising as I had hoped. Udder shots will be up this weekend when I get her shaved.
I didn't get really great ones of this guy standing up but he looks just like the sister but wider.  He is a real looker if you like dark red. $100 wet buckling price.SOLD

The flash didn't go off but this shot depicted her body the best. She stands just like momma which is a good thing in her case. This was taken at a day old so you can imagine how great she will look when she has better balance. This doeling wnet to a great show home. We know she has great things ahead of her. We wish the best of luck to the lucky young man who chose her.

As you can see here, Arial had a very colorful set of triplets. The pics don't do them justice, especially the spotted one. All those patches will be white one day. The doeling is a pretty roan with splashes and the black splash buckling is huge and has a gorgeous coat. Arial is an awesome milker and the easiest goat you will ever milk, plus she is wildly colored and has awesome ears that she passed on to all these kids. We are asking $100 for the bucklings or wethers, whichever you would like them to be and $250 for the doeling as she will be registered, and should be an outstanding milker like mom.
SOLD
Ella had twin does. I haven't had a chance to get a picture of both yet. They look alot alike though. This picture isn't the best but you get the idea of shiny black, just like momma. Ella's udder is coming in nicely and her teat placement is excellent as well as her dairy skin. Ella currently weighs 165lbs and that is huge for a 15 months old first freshener.  This doeling should be a good show prospect. We are asking $300, which is a deal for her Goldthwaite lines.SOLD

These kids belong to Victory Meadows Leilani and Narrow Chance Copper Breeze. Copper can be see at www.oldpathshomestead.com and Lani is on our senior doe page. This little guy has some great bloodlines and should make someone a great herdsire that will pass on general appearance, udder attachment, and milk. Also he should pass color, as you can see his sister is the flashiest thing around. No I am sorry she is not for sale. He comes disbudded, tatooed, and with an ADGA application. He is weaned now, and should be in working order for this breeding season. A real steal at $250 considering his bloodline and color potential.
